Financial Analyst

The Junior Financial Analyst will support in the setting-up local finance department and implementation of relevant controlling tools in collaboration with Commercial Finance Manager (like forecast model, marketing budget, CoGs analysis etc.)

For their newly opened office in the heart of Zurich, we are looking for a Financial Analyst.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support in setting-up local finance department and implementation of relevant controlling tools in collaboration with Commercial Finance Manager (like forecast model, marketing budget, CoGs analysis etc.)
  • Local responsible for accounting topics in collaboration with EMEA finance team (incl. SSC) and auditors
  • Analytical support of other departments (e.g. marketing, operations) for different kind of financial requests
  • Actively involved in closing and management reporting activities: month-end, quarterly, year-end, internal controls
  • Preparation of monthly dashboard (KPIs & P&L) reporting for the local business unit
  • Daily and weekly sales reporting
  • Responsible for ad hoc analysis and requests
  • Local team member in (international) projects, e.g. annual operating plan process, system integration etc.

PERSONAL AND PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Master or bachelor’s degree
  • Qualified or Part Qualified CIMA (preferred)
  • Up to 6 years of working experience in a finance department
  • Demonstrated interest in CPG, tech or medical device industries
  • High degree of organization and efficiency with demonstrated attention to detail
  • Comfort with excel and powerpoint
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on attention to detail while delivering against tight deadlines
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Comfort in learning new tools and systems fast
  • Highest ethical standards, integrity, authenticity, credibility and character
  • Ability to work in a dynamic fast-moving environment
  • Positive mental attitude
  • Fluency in both written and spoken English and German languages
  • Effective work permit for Switzerland is a must
